About Institute AAMI
Institute Atelje Art Murn International (AAMI) was established by Slovenian artist and businessman Miha Murn in 2015. Our essential aim is to help various artists which represent the art market. We offer them space for exhibiting, promoting and selling their artworks. An integral part of our work is to raise awareness and educate the general public about the arts. Our spaces are assembled from several thousand square meters of exhibition space, located mostly in one of the largest shopping and entertainment centres in Europe – the BTC City Ljubljana (Crystal Palace, Emporium and several other locations within the area), in the business centre Rotonda Ljubljana, Maxi Center Ljubljana, Cubo Hotel etc.
During the course of our existence, we have acquired several exhibition spaces in various countries. In 2017, we have opened our branch Institute in Prague, where we weave the same platform concept as in Slovenia. This expansion was followed by the start of our activities in Asia with the official opening of Institute AAMI Hong Kong in 2018 and the opening of Institute AAMI London in 2020.
Our offer includes several services in the fields of graphic design, web design, photography, printing, appraisals and sales of artworks, sale of antiques, consulting in the purchase of artworks, event organization, interior design and others. Our vision is to become the leading organization for the development and systematization of arts and culture in Europe. We are confident that the company can implement strong changes and improvements to the development of this industry. One of the main aspects of our activities is also upgrading empty spaces which are bad promotion for the owner. That does not only include the empty spaces that are waiting for their new potential owners or buyers, but also spaces which lack their soul and have not entirely come to life yet.
